We all experience having a bad hair day exactly the day we woke up a bit too late and no time for a proper shampoo. Or, going to the gym everyday and having our hair so dry that we cannot wash them everyday without getting scare to .
Here is the perfect hack!
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of coconut flour
- 8-10 drops of essential oils ( my favourite are peppermint, rosemary and lavender)
- 4 tbsp of cocoa (optional if you have dark hair)
Mix all the ingredients properly in a glass jar. I like to use sugar dispenser like this one:
Use a little bit on dry hair on the roots. Leaves it for a few minutes then put your head down and shake your hair gently with your fingers to remove the excess.
Brush as usual!
Note: You can also put the dry shampoo at night just before going to bed. The next morning put your head down and gently shake your roots with your fingers. Brush as usual. Natural hairs brush tends to make the hair looks even more grease on the bad day... So with dry shampoo, it can be better to use a brush with wooden pick or the traditional pl*st*c brush (I didn't say it!)
